Why are insects the stars of our photo competition in the month of February? Because they are symbolic: there are billions of them, so a lot of people think that they can destroy them without any negative consequences. But, just like trees, there came a time when Nature was truly devastated by the disappearance of species. And this is one of the links in the vital chain of biodiversity which has been lost for always. The balance of our planet is essential for our own future and we are endangering it every day by forgetting that all living species are dependent on each other...
