CyberDodo and the waste of energy (1-20)

Unlimited growth in a world of limited resources is therefore a delusion entailing dramatic consequences for us and for future generations. We must take action in all areas, and it is now up to you to find the good and poor examples in each category :

Transportation
Cars, planes, boats, trains, bicycle, walking

Energy production
Oil, gas, coal, photovoltaics, wind-driven

Consumption
Domestic appliances, leisure equipment, heating, air conditioning

Not to mention industries of all types that can produce according to 2 models but that most commonly choose the model according to which respect for the environment and, as such, human beings is a limitation that is too costly. The second model integrates the notion of respect and prohibits the plunder and destruction of natural resources that really belong to everyone !
 

We can all contribute to reducing the waste of energy, each and every one of us. Below you will find a non-exhaustive list of what we each can do :

Turn the lights off when you leave a room
Use low energy light bulbs
Do not leave any appliances in sleep mode
Turn off computer screens

Avoid unnecessary and non-recyclable packaging
Prefer reusable packaging
Reduce and sort your garbage

Insulate your home, live in harmony with the season
Set your thermostat at 19° and wear a sweater if necessary
Limit the use of air conditioning, and wear a t-shirt to keep cool
Use renewable energy

Walk, use public transportation or your bicycle
Choose a hybrid vehicle, carpool
Consider ecotourism for your vacation

I eat healthy, organic if possible
I take the season into account when making food purchases
I choose eco-friendly food products
